Birthday Portraits Animation / Animation Portraits lors d'un Anniversaire

My head is still spinning when I think about that sunday night...
I had a little table in the corner of a big and beautiful Ball Room, getting ready for what could be or couldn't be a stressful night. I was preparing my inks... And starting a flowery frame, just in case a pretty girl wanted to be "portraitized". And there she came, the youngest sister. And there came the friends of the young girl, and the sisters and brothers and parents! I was surrounded by many people looking to what I was doing.

It was strangely energizing, though very stressful. I was almost shaking from the adrenaline rush.

I had to be fast, because they were small kids not used to pose, and the kids around couldn't help but comment on what they were seeing. It was kind of hard to stay focused on what I was doing.
The "models" were great, particularly those that were able to stay still ;-)

It was like a drawing marathon.
It lasted 5 hours.

and Honestly, it was great!!! I'm ready to do it again anytime!!!

So if you need animation for a birthday, particularly in the Geneva area, just ask me!

Ça a duré 5 heures.

Merci! mail: contact"at"laurawendenburg"point"ch

Still along the Rhône / Toujours le long du Rhône

Thanks to you all for your encouraging comments, I keep trying to draw with pastels at the edge of the Rhône.

You can see here The Kugler Factory, where artists have their workshop. It's my dream to have mine there.

Still along the Rhône, but in a more civilized way, the town-sided Rhône. I drew this at the Promenade des Lavandières. I love to go there to have a drink with friends at the Buvette there, La Barje, sometimes with my feet in the water.

This side is the less wild side, but I like though.

A sketch of a beautiful Building in Geneva, seen from the Café des Forces Motrices.

I did it with black markers, and then, whoosh, a bit of Photoshop magic, and Tadaaa!
