Did I mention my liking for Buffy The Vampire Slayer?
This is an appreciation I share with my best friend. It was his on the occasion of his 30th Birthday that I gave him this Spike's Portrait.

It's been made with my friend the black pencil. =)

Birth Announcement Card Chick, Faire-part de Naissance Poussin

Here are the pictures I created for a Birth Announcement. I offered them a farm environment so the newly elder brother will like the card. He is 2 years old =). The tractor is especially made for him!

Hello There!

If you heard about our great first show in Lausanne and couldn't come, this is for you!
If you didn't know we had a show that autumn, I hope you'll like my pictures anyway =)

The show was about The Sleeping Beauty, we were fourteen to take part, and that's my participation:

I chose my sleeping beauty to happen in the fifties, so I could draw some nice fifties outfits and hairstyles.

Voici ma participation à l'expo que nous avons organisée à Lausanne cet automne. 

L'expo était sur le thème de la Belle au Bois Dormant.

Nous étions 14 artistes, et avons eu un grand plaisir à nous réunir autour de ce thème à la fois populaire et classique, qui n'a pas toujours été traité de manière classique =)

J'ai choisi de placer mon conte dans les années 50 pour que je puisse m'amuser avec les tenues et les coiffures fifties.

Waffles are back! / Le grand retour des Gaufres !

Wouhouhouh !!! I can finally show you that work!

For those of you who know the Paléo Festival or the Montreux Jazz Festival, or go to festivals in Switzerland, you may know the Manneke Kris Waffles ?! They are as good as they look. And the waffle maker is my favorite client for a few years. This year he asked me a picture to decorate his food stand. I had to took a picture I already made for him 3 years ago, and integrate it in a new landscape. He also asked me to put all the original ingredients of his sweet waffles in that picture. Cow for milk and butter, wheat fields for flour, chicken for eggs, a cannel-tree, vanilla-orchid and a cocoa-tree. I had a lot of fun drawing it. Hope you like seeing it!

Wouhouhouh !!! Je peux enfin vous montrer ce travail!

Pour ceux qui connaissent le Paléo Festival, ou le Montreux Jazz Festival, ou qui vous baladez dans les festivals suisses, vous connaissez peut-être les Gaufres Manneke Kris ?! Elle sont aussi délicieuses qu'elles en ont l'air. Et le faiseur de gaufre est mon client favori depuis quelques années maintenant. Cette année, il m'a demandé de lui faire une image qu'il imprimerait sur une bâche afin de décorer son stand. J'ai dû reprendre une image que j'avais faite pour lui dans le passé, et l'intégrer dans un nouveau décor. Devaient aussi y figurer l'origines des ingrédients, la vache pour lait et beurre, les champs de blé pour la farine, les poules pour les oeufs, ainsi que le cannelier, le vanillier et le cacaoyer. Je me suis bien amusée à réaliser cette image, j'espère qu'elle vous plait!

Still experimenting, and still enjoying experimenting, inspired by http://alexandre-day.blogspot.ch/ which does incredible drawings. I tried to approach his technique, by trying graphite on gesso. But I have to try more and more if I want  to reach his finesse. Maybe I should try something thinner than the gesso which is really rough.
 Anyway, here's my piece!

J'expérimente toujours, et j'apprécie toujours autant, cette fois inspirée par http://alexandre-day.blogspot.ch/ qui fait des dessins incroyables. J'ai essayé de me rapprocher de sa technique en essayant du graphite sur gesso. Mais il va me falloir encore beaucoup de boulot si je veux atteindre sa finesse. Peut-être aussi devrais-je aussi essayer un enduit plus fin parce-que ce gesso est très rugueux.
 M'enfin, voilà mon essai!

Hum, pardon, j'apprécie juste fortement les poils de visages. Ca doit être mon cerveau Pré-Néandertalien qui parle.

Toujours est-il que j'ai participé à un concours, et... Je n'ai pas gagné! Mais je me sens chanceuse tout de même puisque la chouette (pour ne pas dire talentueuse) Tarmasz qui a organisé ce concours a mis mon dessin avec tous les autres qui ont participé.
